You will have heard alot about the new site and all the benefits it will bring, but the site’s upgrades are far from over.

After going live with the new design, we will begin working on implementing a one page checkout, a massively efficient and much easier way to make payments on our site. This will cut the time it takes to buy our products, so ou can get back do making your bathroom idea a reality!

The implementation of a new stock control system also took a new turn this week. After looking into dedicated software to which we can link the current sites management system, we decided to modify the site to cope with the changes we want. This has meant alot of time looking through lines and lines of code and even learning new bits along the way. Its nearning its end now so without realising it, soon your order will be carried through our system differently making life easier for the warehoue staff.

We are always working on improving our Google ranking so keep your eye on us moving slowly but surely to number 1!

As many of you following these blogs will know we currently have a twitter letting you know when Online Bathrooms have updated their blog with news and offers.

We have now implemented twitter into the design our  newly designed site.  So you can gain access to our blogs much easier and faster.

We are excited that the re-design is almost ready to go live and we know you will enjoy the benefits.

As Alan mentioned previously the website is going through a big re-design to make it much simpler and friendly to navigate through and use.

One of the ways we are achieving this is by creating a less cluttered categories navigation bar, which will always be available along that top of any page. The current categories navigation box along the left hand side of the website consists of 18 main categories to choose from which then hasup to another 3 layers of sub categories to scroll through (That’s a lot to navigate through & choose from).

So what we have spent alot of time looking at is making the navigating of products more efficient and seriously reduced the amount of categories a user needs to navigate through to find the right product. So now when a user accesses our home page they are faced with only 8 main categoryimages (10 less than originally) and every page has the same eight category links along the top.

This is just one way were making www.onlinebathrooms.com more simple and friendly to use.

Hi all onlinebathrooms fans! Just a quick update to let you know the progress of the site so far. We’re still working on the layout to give you a more simplistic design allowing you to jump straight to the products you want! We’re also working on the placement of the banners throughout the pages to ensure you catch the latest offers no matter where you are within the site.

Speaking of offers! The Autumn Sale is now on! you can save upto 60% on some fantastic products! Head on over and check them out before they go! But dont forget to keep your eyes on the banner at the top of the Home Page! It’s always packed with special offers that dont last forever!

Hi all! It’s been a while since i updated you on the progress of the site (Sorry!). But as you will now see, the new tabbed system is in place and looking fab! This has had a massivle impact on the look of the products pages and allows us to give you as much info as we can on every product. We’re constantly working on making sure that the tabs for each product have all the info you need, and this tabbed window definately makes it easier.

Currently, we are working on an integration of the product managements system and the website. This will allow you to see exactly what products are in stock, and allow the warehouse staff to locate and build orders much more quickly. Alongside this, we are working on putting in place a discount code system, saving you even more money on our already rock bottom prices! So keep your eyes on the banners at the top of the page, as this is where we will display these codes!

We have updated our full range of Shower Trays on the website, to higher quality trays and due to our excellent negotiation team here at Online Bathrooms, we’ve been able to keep their prices down and keep them as compatative as always.

The range now has some new size trays to accomidate some of the less common sizes.You can check the full range out here

We have arranged all the trays into simple to navigate categories. Slimline Trays which are a thin and sleek designed trays managing to be only 40mm thick but still retain high durability, this is thanks to using the most up-to-date technology and materials. You can also purchase an optional leg set for the Slimline Trays.

We also have the Very tough, Heavy Duty Stone Resin Trays (which dont need a leg set) and the easy to fit Easy Plumb Trays. Each category has a choice of square, rectangle and quadrant trays.
